As we navigate home centered worship with all buildings closed and activities
cancelled, it can sometimes leave us wondering what we CAN do. Last week in Come
Follow Me, we would have discussed the gathering of Israel. In short, here is something
I thought was worth highlighting. President Nelson addresses the gathering of Israel and
says this:
“Anytime you do anything that helps anyone—on either side of the veil—take a step
toward making covenants with God and receiving their essential baptismal and temple
ordinances, you are helping to gather Israel”
(Hope of Israel, Worldwide youth devotional 2018)
Ideally we would be going to the temple as a youth group this week. Because that is
cancelled, we can do temple work from home by submitting names, working on family
history, or indexing. We are blessed to have access in our own homes to do temple
work online. We are still able to reach out to current family and friends and share
messages of hope with them and share the spirit.
Continue forward in faith over fear and know that the gathering of Israel is not halted in
