Greetings & Salutations!
After driving out on the roads, I’ve decided to cancel church services today. Most wards in the stake are also canceling. Please stay home and be safe! Please have sacrament in your home, if you are able to do so. Please do not ask Priesthood brethren to come and perform this ordinance for you – due to weather conditions.
I will have a Bishop’s message at 10AM on Youtube – search for ‘mwc ward’ – for those who are interested in joining. I imagine it will not last more than 30 minutes.
Please consider serving someone on our Angel Tree list. This service is not about ‘buying’ gifts, it is about ‘giving’ gifts – the gift of love, the gift of friendship, the gift of remembrance, even the gift of your testimony of the Savior. If you have these gifts to give, please let me know that you would like to serve someone.
Please remember Elder Robar who is serving in the Spokane, WA mission. If you would like to contribute something to his Christmas box from the ward, please deliver to me by Friday, Dec. 18th. Again, doesn’t have to be something bought, could be a letter or homemade card, item, etc.
Other items of note – youth activities this Wednesday at 7PM at the church, unless otherwise noted. No activities the following week of Christmas. While there are not official youth activities Dec 30th, we might have a special New Years Eve youth party thingy, we’ll see what happens …
